Andrew Tilin, an amateur cyclist and a writer,  received a 2-year ban. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this individual after he had admitted using steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the Andrew Tilin in own book that will be soon probably published. The book is entitled following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
this book presents personal experiences of several persons who used drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
Thus, Tilin used the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear.  In fact, it is not yet clear whether this person has mentioned about personal experience linked with other medications which enhance performance.
Tilin wants to comprehend and describe in his book why individuals dope. He notes the motivations of various individuals. Do these medicines help really? These medicines are quite controversial; the explanations linked with these medicines are controversial as well. Since a lot of users don’t like saying about their intake, numerous answers on questions about doping remain undisclosed.

He didn’t admit taking controlled medications willingly; he was caught due to an investigation. His professional and personal life was destroyed because of these controlled preparations. Joe Papp wrote about Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp noted that Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was forbidden but he had administrated it. Then he wrote that these medicines caused unwanted symptoms in users.  According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to be banned for four years.
The ban of Andrew Tilin began in March 2011.
