Negative influence of some sports stars on American youth

American youth idolize their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of nowadays: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their every move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of today? It may be risky. Today sports heroes obtain millions of dollars because of steroid use. However the NFL and the MLB fight against doping, the war seems to be unsuccessful. Usage of steroids like cancer destroys sports. Although American youth are taught about dangerous side results of these medications, the results are not good.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They try to meet the needed criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional athletes. The all these factors promote using steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children understand that it is difficult to do it. Which are the results? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to lie in order to succeed. College admission levels have dropped because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place proclaims that it can cause the situation, when high school students will look for other ways to have ability to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids may seem for teenagers to be the best alternative method.
American youth know that numerous professional athletes have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard trainings; others administrated steroids and other related products. If American youth act like those who dope, which will be the consequences?
Prolonged steroid use may lead to addiction to these medications.  Moreover, users of steroids can suffer from such unwanted results, as liver disorders, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These negative consequences are considered to be severe; they may threaten to life.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t want to see their children ill. They desire their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and intensive trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, using steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to make real our dreams.

Is the steroid era over?

There is a theme that causes hot discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, in case they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, in case you desire to cause heated debates, you only need to note that several superstars win due to steroid use.
Different persons have various opinions, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why certain persons that play baseball administrate steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and praise that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those who don’t administrate steroids and win because of natural talents. Those deserve respect, honor and awards that are not lured to dope for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids shouldn’t be elected for the Hall of Fame. It represents trying to escape from shame linked with the steroid era. You can observe efforts to leave all negative effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame consumers of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? In fact, a wrong perception is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those that think that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everybody knows that many players of baseball have taken anabolic steroids and other related medicines. Furthermore, no one doubts that today there are such players of baseball that continue to administrate forbidden medications. A lot of individuals debate whether a player with average skills can transform in a great player due to usage of forbidden preparations. Certain people confirm that without proper talents steroids don’t profit. Talents should present. Others don’t agree with this affirmation. They confirm that steroids have ability to enhance performance whatever talent a person has.
But the problem is that we condemn players who dope alone. But not only sportspersons must be blamed for the steroid era. Everyone knows what happens really during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is behind us. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Usage of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts should present to be convinced that doping doesn’t affect baseball longer.

Efforts of the MLB to push steroids out of baseball

The Major League Baseball put efforts to prevent usage of steroids. It wants to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, many persons are inclined to administrate steroids and other related medications which enhance performance to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of individuals take steroids and other medications that increase performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has taken steroids or other related medications. Of course, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody is afraid to be caught taking any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests players from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to penalize those that dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are educated about risks for their health connected with steroids. They are educated about undesirable consequences which may be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this case. The average wage is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a real achievement for any player from this Republic. That’s why sportspeople from this location are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They want to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They desire to get it for well-being of their families and for better life in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
In fact, usage of steroids is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble that destroys the whole world. No one athlete can be sure whether he competes against an individual that has natural skills and talents or against an individual that takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be educated about risks linked with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or just in the U. S. but around the world.

Nowadays many baseball players are motivated just by money

The Major League Baseball endured several baffling periods of time. It survived 2 situations which are considered to be two world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Nowadays the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will have capability to survive this period too. There was a case that had an essential influence on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB that took medicines that increase performance. Moreover, he is not the last of them. A lot of baseball players have administrated forbidden medicines to enhance performance. A lot of baseball players have received praise and millions of dollars due to intake of forbidden preparations.
The sums of money that may be obtained justify the dangers connected with usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who use forbidden preparations don’t care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such individuals are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans who try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about the steroid era in baseball.
No one doubts that any baseball player who uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made only for money. Such person trades own honor only for getting money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is without steroid use. A lot of baseball players possess talents and proper skills; they train intensively and dedicate themselves completely to this sport. They are honest persons. They keep their image. Such players love baseball truthfully. They do not care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by pure love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB bans steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in each sport who take unfair advantage due to administration of steroids.
Our hope is following: we think that the day comes, when we’ll observe athletes that compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and intensive workouts.

The topic connected with steroids is widely discussed

The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely debated by numerous individuals. Everyday many articles are written about these drugs. You come across news that report about individuals who administrate steroids. You come across cases connected with those who are caught distributing steroids and sentenced to probation or imprisonment. However steroids are recommended for many persons to treat them from several diseases, administration of these medicines for performance-enhancing effects is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may get money due to distribution or administration of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They use and distribute these medicines, although they are considered to be illegal in several countries. Many individuals violate steroid laws because they can get money, distributing and/or taking steroids.
It is undoubtedly that you have read many articles about wrestlers that have administrated prohibited drugs for many years. Some of users died due to sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to realize that fatal cases happen due to steroids. Many persons deny connections between serious medical conditions and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball wants to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without steroids and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to medications that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is not possible to be convinced that you comprehend how wide spread intake of banned medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If sportspersons use medicines that enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids that goes info sports should define whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she should have another job. Everyone must do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be discontinued in sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Who suffers from consequences related to violation of steroid laws?

The laws which criminalize intake of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread intake of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies believed that prohibition of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from usage of illegal preparations. But criminalization of steroids influenced on intake of steroids by competitive sportspersons insignificantly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute athletes that administrate illegal medicines. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspersons and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of breaking these laws.
This is not just one’s opinion. Real facts display it. Let think: who is sentenced to prison because of distributing steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5-month imprisonment because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a physician. Actually, this person wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He just turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician talked to federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. Thus, the statement of this woman led to the situation, when the physician was investigated.
Actually, Ashley Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short time. This person sold these medicines to his friends. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, confirmed that his client had understood his guilty totally and taken the whole responsibility for his illegal operations.  The attorney stated that Rivers was a moral individual. However he broke the steroid laws, he realized the dangers and admitted to his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley only to probation.  Ashley Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 adopted children  and 3 children of his disabled brother. In addition to these conditions, Rivers gave about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if this person were sentenced to probation. He would continue to work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of the defense attorney James Robinson. He confirmed that this man committed a serious crime and he has to serve time in prison. However the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson  at the beginning, finally he made the decision to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You can observe that steroid laws have just a slight influence on professional athletes.

Jose Canseco put efforts to return to the MLB

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for administration of steroids. This baseball player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he claimed that a lot of players of the MLB took steroids.
Now Jose Canseco has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. He has proclaimed about his dreams to play in the MLB again. This person has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
Jose Canseco has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. He was probably blackballed by baseball due to his statements related to steroids and described in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has identified himself as the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these medicines in baseball. Jose Canseco openly acknowledged in his book that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other preparations that have performance-enhancing effects. This player mentioned also names of other baseball players that administrated steroids. Such individuals, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were identified by Jose Canseco.
However anabolic steroids may be gotten without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to some sources, Jose Canseco will be tested for prohibited medicines by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
Jose Canseco claims that he has discontinued using steroids certain years ago. According to certain sources, since stopping using steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to cure some troubles linked with reduced testosterone level.
Jose Canseco noted that he had had some undesirable symptoms due to intake of steroids. So, his health care provider had to recommend him a testosterone gel to relieve from reduced sex drive and depression.
While he tried to restore his natural testosterone production, he got several troubles with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. Jose Canseco’s house was raided by police officials but no any steroids were discovered.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he tries to continue playing professional baseball.

Dangers of steroids for MMA

Some mixed martial artists have publicly admitted that they administrate anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been recommended by physicians. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), believes that this factor has created an impression among numerous individuals that steroid exemptions are given to allow MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting the executive director of the NSAC noted that certain people believed that any fighter could obtain exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to Keith Kizer,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a treatment that is required for adult men that have hypogonadism (low testosterone levels). If sportspersons correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for fighter that try to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for intake of steroids. A sportsperson must have the document that displays that blood levels of testosterone are low.  But if a fighter has reduced level of testosterone, it is not enough to get a TUE. Treating physicians must name reasons and medical conditions. The details related to testosterone replacement therapy should be identified by health care providers too. Every detail must manifest that certain sportsperson has to  take testosterone for medical purposes and intake of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Certain top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have administrated steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson are included in the group of stars who administrate steroids for clinical needs.
Kizer claims that ban of steroids makes MMA safer. He notes that if a fighter uses steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  Thus, this is not only lying. This situation is connected with risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this athlete will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such person administrates steroids.
Undoubtedly, intake of steroids has potential risks to enhance the harm that can occur in MMA.

A father that has injected his son with steroids performs his community service, explaining about dangers connected with steroids

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. Corey Gahan won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also obtained the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
James Gahan pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his young son. This person collaborated with a coach from Florida to supply Corey with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. This person was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in prison.
Since he had already completed his time in a prison, he was released. James Gahan began to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other forbidden medications had been changed completely. James Gahan discussed with high school athletes about risks linked with doping. It was a part of his community service to which he had  been sentenced by the court.
This individual noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his son. This person mentioned only about own experiences with these preparations. This person noticed that if someone desired to see side effects of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he took these products. James Gahan mentioned that he used 45 pills daily and his insides had eroded.
In fact, James Gahan didn’t explain what he meant, saying that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He didn’t say anything about his illness that required 45 pills daily!
This person said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noted that since he was the father, he took the complete responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for his son to acknowledge that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t desire to communicate with his father that has injected him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for giving steroids to him; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes is proud that he has represented Canada successfully

Colin Daynes, a Greco-Roman wrestler, desired to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unfortunately, his dreams will not be real. Administration of prohibited preparations caused this unpleasant case. Colin Daynes was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports reported that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such banned products, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone belong to anabolic steroids that are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. As for Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This product is usually administrated together with several others in order to reduce fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers use this product as well as other diuretics to lose body weight in order to correspond to requirements of certain weight classes.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other banned medications intentionally. He noted that he had taken these medicines to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But he added that he hadn’t known that these preparations were banned by the WADA. This wrestler blamed his physician for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor that advised him taking these medicines. The wrestler noticed that if he had known that the medications were prohibited, he would not have competed.
The Greco-Roman wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to compete at the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and had to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of banned products this wrestler has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that he is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes confirmed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they wanted to do it after the successful career of 25 years and everything he had done.

It was suspected that Armstrong organized a doping program

The doping case against Lance Armstrong is announced to be closed. He remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The length of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used controlled substances. The charges against this cyclist threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this person took steroids were in vain.
Lance Armstrong claimed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the investigation. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong claimed that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation linked with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t note about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was considered to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this athlete had lied about usage of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge proclaimed about previous mistrial.
Investigators thought that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They tried to determine whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
In fact, prosecutors tried to learn whether Lance Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong wasn’t required to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were charged with lying under oath.
Frank, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and her wife Betsy Andreu accused Armstrong in usage of forbidden preparations. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such cases happened due to power of money.

The affirmation that steroids cause brain cancer doesn’t have any scientific basis

Norm Fost, the professor of Wisconsin’s University, destroys some common misconceptions connected with anabolic steroids. Although several experts proclaim about severe and even life-threatening unwanted effects of anabolic steroids, Dr. Fost denies these affirmations, confirming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of Norm Fost are not so often quoted by media as affirmations about serious side results of steroids.  Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so harmful, as it is believed, is noticed once for every 500-time conclusion that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually mislead readers, writing the quotes of this expert wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never clamed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is evident that these substances may lead to different undesirable effects. Norm fost doesn’t deny risks of occurring  negative effects. Actually, this expert says some other things. This doctor notes that potential risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. Norm Fost denies the statement that steroids cause the rare type of brain cancer. According to some sources, this caused the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Norm Fost notes that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado blamed his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this player was the only evidence that indicated about the connection between his intake of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Lyle Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this aspect strange?
In fact, it was said that AIDS had affected his immune system and induced destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma which was connected with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU claimed that Lyle Alzado had had B-cell lymphoma that was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the situation. He noted that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Lyle Alzado had, nobody of them claimed about connection between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Steroid use is not in harmony with the religious principles of Anna Watson

The University of Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson said that she was pressured to take steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent recommended her to take Anavar to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This lady was tempted but finally she refused to take steroids. She claimed that her body was “a temple” and she would not destroy it.
This person noticed that she had been tempted by administration of steroids many times. The agent put efforts to present steroids as something good.
It was said that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she use steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she talked to representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such famous models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson  has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be involved in the glamorous world. In addition to this aspect, this lady rejected intake of steroids because this aspect was not in harmony with her religious principles. Anna Watson claimed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a nice creation. Anna Watson concluded that she would not break her moral and religious principles just to take photos. Anna Watson  made a decision not to affect her health.
Several questions appear, reading these statements. One could ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is obvious that if Anna Watson gains 50 pounds of muscles, she will be allowed to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspeople know that such sums of money are not obtained easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be received from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Females that are involved in bodybuilding fight greatly to receive prize money. Women with muscular bodies are more likely to receive money from “schmoes” (men who have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from such prestigious modeling agencies, as Elite.

Lawal used the dietary supplement S-Mass Lean Gainer that contained the steroids Superdrol and Promagnon

King Mo Lawal admitted that he had administrated a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients which were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, usage of this product led to positive for Masteron.
King Mo Lawal noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had purchased “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This supplement was produced by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of prohibited preparations are enumerated on the label of this product. Actually, these steroids were the subjects of several debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These drugs are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. So, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
The pharmaceutical company Anabolic Resources was the first that produced Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was charged with elaborating of a new unapproved medicine. Later the company pleaded guilty and admitted that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, this pharmaceutical company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also initially appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this pharmaceutical company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But Peak Performance made a decision to discontinue producing this steroid in 2006.
Although legal status of these two steroids is controversial, many companies have manufactured and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Undoubtedly, those who are involved in this industry know about the status of these substances but they continue to offer them for sales.
The manager for Lawal says that the full responsibilities should be taken by the companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He adds that such companies misguide consumers intentionally.

Ryan Braun, an American baseball player, confirms that he is wrongly accused in usage of steroids

Although Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a ban for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t admit to intake of prohibited preparations. This baseball player claimed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. This baseball player fights against the results that have been announced.
Altough it has been lately discussed whether steroid users are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted users of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell claimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other steroid users were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes acknowledged that they had taken steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had increased level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show actual amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing which confirmed about existence of exogenous testosterone.
A lot of sportswriters thought that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited drugs. But this player made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with usage of steroids.  This baseball player noticed that characters of people are revealed in such cases of adversary. He claimed that he had a great respect to baseball. He concluded that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with great respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to administrate steroids to be capable to play. When this person heard about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised.  He mentioned that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of prohibited preparations.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He mentioned that he would display his innocence and false positives.

French cyclists dope without any caution

Intake of anabolic steroids and other medicines which enhance performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional athletes. It isn’t surprisingly, when athletes test positive for forbidden products. But there are some unusual situations, when a person tests positive for numerous banned products. Here is a situation.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for more than 10 prohibited medications, including over 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. He has received 3-year ban from competitions.
It was defined that this young cyclist had administrated such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample were following;  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Certain individuals mention that this amateur cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been considered to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. Jacques Anquetil was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist who had won the Tour de France 5 times. He had got also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil took steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He mentioned that only a fool individual would endure this agony linked with the extreme sport of cycling without doping. This famous cyclist added that drug testing might deprive personal liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everyone doped.
It is important to notice steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Administration of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for administration of anabolic steroids, it has become more widespread during past two decades.
Let mention which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have used them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught taking testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to enhance performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He noticed that usage of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, any individual may take testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone must take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier wasn’t careful and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for prohibited preparations at the race in Aubervilliers.

King Mo Lawal doesn’t acknowledge that he has used Masteron

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t manifest their dislike to each other for some years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, noticing that he doesn’t have good opinion about  Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact connected with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson claimed that it was quite obvious that Lawal had taken steroids. He pointed out that King Mo wasn’t a true fighter. He used steroids to be able to compete.
Quinton Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were permitted to administrate steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person noticed that it was a significant difference between goals. Fighters and other athletes are permitted to use steroids for TRT and not for increase of performance, according to this fighter.
He says that there are individuals that suffer from some health troubles. They consult their health care providers that prescribe steroids. They use these medicines to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters who take steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for testosterone replacement therapy by athletes is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter that claimed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by sportspersons. But there are other fighters who do not agree with this opinion. Numerous sportspersons have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They think that usage of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They proclaim that all fighters who apply anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are liars.
King Mo Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this fighter and his manager confirm that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were certain rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal must serve a ban.

Rousey knew that Santos was a cheater

the president of the UFC Dana White proclaimed about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was connected with positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. The president of the UFC noted that this condition would promote the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why the president of the UFC came to the conclusion related to the end of the division.
It is believed that the president of the UFC didn’t suppose which would be the response of several individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a great war would start on Twitter between well-known female mixed martial artists.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey that is the top of female MMA featherweight and who has obtained the bronze medal in judo noted about her dislike to administration of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her feelings about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. She pointed out that intake of steroids was caused by uncertainty of athletes in their skills, strength and abilities. This female fighter pointed out that the decision to administrate performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the individuals were not enough prepared to win in competitions. Rowdy Rousey claimed that administration of steroids and other related medicines displayed psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness promotes cheating.
Rowdy Rousey noticed about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during several interviews. This person talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Santos had administrated controlled preparations. Rowdy Rousey noticed that she never had respect toward Chris Cyborg Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was glad to find out that Santos had been caught and suspended.
As for Cyborg Santos, she became incensed because of Rousey’s affirmations. She wrote to her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the ban by Santos. She believes that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following wordsto Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos posted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t post the real picture. Instead of it, Cyborg Santos used Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were imposed by her upon Gina Carano.
Rousey didn’t wait a lot; she responded to the words and the picture at once. She had harsh expressions for Cyborg Santos, blaming her for cheating and for posting  the picture, applying Photoshop.
Numerous people claim that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than some real fights. It is believed that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
