Jose Canseco experiences nightmares about steroids

The former MLB player Jose Canseco has pointed out that he experiences nightmares related to steroids. He has noted that he has begun to experience nightmares from the time of writing the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. The book described application of steroids in the MLB. The author has noticed on his Twitter account that nightmares connected with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Furthermore, he continues to experience them till today. The former professional baseball player compares them with a demon who never sleeps.
Jose Canseco has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. The former professional baseball player noticed in his book about intake of steroids by several MLB players quite openly. This work was tuned out to be a bestseller. The author has wrote names of the players that have administered anabolic steroids. Canseco stated that he had been pushed out of professional baseball due to his book.
Jose Canseco identified such sportspeople, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, claiming that they had used steroids. He also mentioned names of Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t confirm that he had known about intake of steroids by these athletes directly.
The most well-known name that has been reported by Jose Canseco in his book is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire that hit 70 homeruns. Canseco reported that McGwire had used Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning no one was inclined to believe that these affirmations were true. Mark McGwire denied usage of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire acknowledged that he had applied steroids and HGH. He acknowledged that Jose Canseco had described the truth.
McGwire acknowledged that he had applied prohibited medicines and he had apologized about this factor. He mentioned that he was taking them during the 90s. Later McGwire has obtained possibility to play professional baseball again. He was hired as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
When it comes to Jose Canseco, he hopes to receive the second chance and to return to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have agreed to give the second chance. Jose Canseco hopes that this is his step in direction to the MLB.
