A British politician’s son has been suspended from rugby for steroid use

Jonny Spelman, the son of a well-known British politician, was caught possessing steroids after he had written about administration of anabolic steroids on several forums related to bodybuilding. His mother, Caroline Spelman, belongs to the Conservative Party. Lately she was chosen to be the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Steroids were found in Jonny’s room at the Tonbridge School in Kent. Since this boy violated International Rugby Board the policy which bans steroid use, he received a ban. Jonny turned out to be the youngest rugby player of the Tonbridge that was punished for violation of anti-drug rules.
Jonny tore the anterior cruciate ligament of his leg during a match in September 2011. He ordered some steroids via internet in order to receive faster recovery from the injury. Jonny wrote about intake of steroids on several bodybuilding forums under the name “Spelmanjm”. He claimed that no one could disturb him to utilize steroids. He stated that he didn’t desire to discontinue administering these preparations.
This teenage wrote about steroidal and prohorone supplements which have been taken by him. He mentioned names of following drugs: M1T, SD Matrix, Tren Bombs, Dianabol, Winstrol, Testosterone and  Anavar.
Jonny asked for instructions related to application of Testosterone Propionate and Parabolan. He also interested in post cycle therapy with Clomid and Nolvadex.
Jonny’s mother spent large sums of money in legal and court costs, attempting to disturb publishing about Jonny’s suspension by the “Daily Star Sunday” The defensive lawyers for Spelman claimed that the news would be political under this circumstance. According to their words, it would be a political attack on the Secretary Spelman. The information linked with administration of steroids by Jonny would be as a political weapon against Spelman.
Gareth Morgan, the editor of the “Daily Star Sunday”, stated that there was a freedom for press and published news related to this case in March, 2012.
Morgan noted that they had become discouraged by the family of Spelman and by her attempt to disturb publishing the sad news about her family. She tried to apply her influence for this purpose.
The parents of Jonny expressed words of support for their son due to consequences of doping. He can play professional rugby only after serving of the suspension.
