Lance Armstrong never failed a drug test. But he lost his seven Tour de France titles because the USADA claimed that he had doped.
You may notice that administration of forbidden products is claimed to be an ultimate sin of professional sportspersons. They are banned, if they are found guilty or just suspected of doping.
For example, the British runner Dwain Chambers was banned because he tested positive for tetrahydrogestrinone. This sportsperson confirmed that he was not the only Olympic sprinter who took steroids. According to his statements, numerous sprinters of the US racing team administered banned drugs.
Several individuals are probably bothered by reading articles about fight against usage of banned medications in sports. It seems that the battle never ends. However anti-doping agencies put unbelievable efforts in order to eradicate doping from professional sports, a lot of sportspersons continue applying banned drugs. It is impossible to confront doping. It seems that it is better to legalize usage of doping products. Let sportspeople use whatever they desire!
Sportspersons break more splendid records from one year to another. It may require to measure thousandths of a second in order to determine who the winner is. It seems that it will be impossible to define with a naked eye the fastest runners. That’s why several specialists fear that it will be too difficult to keep sports interesting.
Some specialists recognize that anti-doping systems fail. Sportspersons that have never tested positive for any prohibited drug are sentenced to lifetime suspensions. Drug tests can’t promote catching those that administer steroids and/or other doping products.
Doping is an inseparable part of sports. Almost every athlete that won Tour de France was involved in a doping case.
Fans have great expectations. Athletes should push their bodies till the limits in order to win. They have to apply steroids and/or other doping products in order to keep their reputations and not disappoint fans. The society should be demonized for athletes’ doping. Not only athletes should be blamed for administration of banned medications. The society makes such culture where sportspersons can’t be at the top without application of certain drugs. That’s why it is necessary to stop blaming athletes. It is better to allow doping in sports. Every sport must compose own list of forbidden medications. Only medications that are harmful to certain sport itself should be prohibited. Let take boxing as an example. This sport should prohibit just those substances that withdraw fear because removing of fear in this sport is against its spirit.
